About the position

The Sales Porter at Community Toyota is responsible for maintaining the vehicle lot, assisting with customer deliveries, and ensuring the dealership property is well-kept. This role involves various tasks related to the sale and upkeep of vehicles, including transporting customers and vehicles, cleaning, and performing basic maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by sales managers.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries.
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Ensuring all window stickers are properly placed on newly arrived vehicles for display.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and delivering vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather-related clean-up when necessary.
• Performing building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Completing other functions and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• 3 years of driving experience.

Nice-to-haves
