About the position

The Sales - Project Manager at Rackley Roofing is responsible for developing business with new customers and managing existing accounts in the Nashville, TN area. This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and promoting the company's brand while adhering to the core values of accountability, hunger, humility, customer focus, innovation, and intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify project bidding opportunities
  • Establish, nurture, and grow direct customer relationships with owners, asset managers, property managers, facility managers, building engineers, and roof consultants
  • Self-generate business through networking and prospecting
  • Deliver and present project proposals personally
  • Accurately write up the scope and recommendations to customers
  • Grow in technical knowledge, both industry-general and project-specific
  • Lead the company effort towards a customer-centric attitude, service, and response
  • Promote the company brand in the marketplace
  • Be available to work during business core hours of 8am-5pm and some nights and weekends as required

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to self-generate business opportunities
  • Experience in project management or sales is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to learn and grow in technical knowledge
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

  • Previous experience in the roofing or construction industry
