About the position

The Sales Project Manager at Water Well Solutions Wisconsin, LLC is responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies to grow the customer base and increase revenue in the well and pump industry, particularly focusing on the commercial and industrial markets. This role involves project management, customer relationship management, and collaboration with the sales team to achieve sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Define requirements for qualified sales leads and initiate customer relationships.
  • Draft sales proposals including price quotes and assist the sales team in closing sales.
  • Observe the company's sales process and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage project design, purchasing, crew and equipment selection, and installation.
  • Accountable for proposals at all stages, from budgetary to high-level bid documents.
  • Coordinate resources to assist in project design and execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Ensure accurate billing procedures and regulatory compliance throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Provide coverage for Senior Sales Project Manager or Operations Manager when needed.
  • Attend company and association meetings as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Two plus years of experience in the water and wells industry, preferably in the industrial and municipal market.
  • Strong mechanical background with general knowledge of geology related to water well construction and maintenance.
  • Motivated self-starter with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Ability to travel to trade shows and sales opportunities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project management experience (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in the water industry (1 year preferred).
  • CDL and Pump Installers License (preferred).
