About the position

The Project Manager (PM) position at Northwest Restoration offers significant growth opportunities and involves managing restoration projects, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring the profitability of assigned jobs. The PM will be responsible for site visits, quality control, financial management, and maintaining communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to manage and document the progress of restoration jobs.
• Coordinate daily schedules to minimize drive time and manage customer expectations.
• Meet with subcontractors to set expectations for site cleanliness, quality of work, and timeliness of completion.
• Identify workmanship or scope errors and problem-solve with the Estimator for cost-effective solutions.
• Build and manage budget sheets for assigned jobs, ensuring a minimum gross profit of 35%.
• Audit bills for accuracy and ensure proper documentation of permits and job-site information.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, ensuring at least two contacts per week.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in general construction and/or restoration for senior level project manager.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check required for working on insurance losses.
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience utilizing project management software and Xactimate is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the construction and insurance industry.
• Ability to utilize technology such as tablets or laptops for documentation.
• Experience reading plans/blueprints.
