About the position

The Sales Rep - Medicare Inside Sales position at MVP Health Care is designed for individuals passionate about health equity and community service. This role involves engaging with Medicare prospects, addressing their inquiries, and guiding them through the enrollment process. The position emphasizes a people-centric culture and offers growth opportunities within a recognized team dedicated to improving healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Set sales appointments
  • Respond to benefit inquiries and complete online enrollment applications for MVP Medicare prospects
  • Address prospect questions, including eligibility, benefit interpretation, and cost sharing via inbound and outbound calls, walk-in contact, and written correspondence/email
  • Assure understanding level of each prospect/enrollee by providing clear, complete, and accurate information regarding assigned product benefits, policies, and procedures
  • Qualify each prospect according to departmental and federal guidelines
  • Meet accessibility and quality goals, such as average speed of answer and abandonment rate
  • Document complete and accurate prospect records and process all appointments, registrations, and requests for information in CRM
  • Meet individual and team membership goals
  • Follow company and federal sales and marketing guidelines in all interactions with prospects
  • Contribute to enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Experience in positions where adherence to strict confidentiality is required
  • Healthcare / health insurance experience preferred
  • Call Center experience preferred
  • NYS and VT LAH Health Insurance license required within 4 weeks training period prior to selling
