About the position

The Account Executive, Customer Base is a key sales position within our organization that is solely responsible for the growth, expansion and brand diversification of our established base of SMB and enterprise level accounts. The value you will deliver includes identifying revenue expansion and new business opportunities inside your assigned account base through add-ons and cross-selling new brands, security enhancements and new-to-market AI and healthcare specific SaaS. You will negotiate long-term contracts (36-60 months) with existing month-month clients with an increase in monthly recurring revenue, and perform ongoing data analysis to identify time-to-strike opportunities and save potential cancellations. Collaboration with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product and Marketing will be essential to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions and pipeline fulfillment. Your primary objectives will align to critical KPIs and quota attainment, and you will assist with Account Management duties as needed. Secondary duties and responsibilities will surface on an as-needed or as-determined basis, by management. You may also perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Responsibilities

  • Identify revenue expansion and new business opportunities inside your assigned account base through add-ons and cross-selling new brands, security enhancements and new-to-market AI and healthcare specific SaaS.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts (36-60 months) with existing month-month clients with an increase in monthly recurring revenue.
  • Ongoing data analysis to identify time-to-strike opportunities and save potential cancellations.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product and Marketing to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions and pipeline fulfillment.
  • Align primary objectives to critical KPIs and quota attainment.
  • Assist with Account Management duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development and revenue development.
  • 5+ years experience in B2B sales.
  • 5+ years of experience using Salesforce (or other CRM).
  • 2+ years of experience with SaaS &/or UCaaS platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience presenting to department leaders via phone and video conference.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills (ie. pivot tables, v-lookups, charts/graphs).
  • A competitive and collaborative mentality.
  • Creative resourcefulness with a persistent drive to exceed quotas.
  • Exceptionally strong skills in relationship selling.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate effective business communication skills verbally and in writing to both internal and external stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years experience selling in healthcare vertical preferred.
  • Experience negotiating and/or working with government contracts.
  • Subject matter expert of technical SaaS platforms with respect to the value proposition.
