About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Representative/Account Executive to join our team at Adcom Worldwide. This role focuses on generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals primarily in the Southeastern US, with the potential for global sales. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to onboard new clients, contributing to our 25 years of excellence in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory.
  • Meet or exceed designated sales targets.
  • Create and implement an effective sales strategy.
  • Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions.
  • Use knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding to educate potential and existing customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics or other comparable fields.
  • Knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding including FTL, LTL, Containerized Freight, Air and Ocean Freight, Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods, Incoterms, etc.
  • Ability to provide detailed commission reports listing services previously sold or a comparable portfolio.
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to be persistent.
  • Must have a clean background and be drug-free.
  • Must reside in the US and be able to legally work in the US.
