About the position

The Sales Representative and Field Trainer position at Summit Insurance is designed for individuals with a competitive mindset, particularly those with a background in athletics. Responsibilities

  • Make daily in-person sales calls to small and medium-sized businesses in your territory.
  • Build strong professional relationships and establish trust and rapport with customers.
  • Connect with key decision makers at businesses and schedule appointments for group presentations of supplemental benefits programs.
  • Report daily sales stats at the end of each day.
  • Submit work schedule and goals to team leader at the beginning of each week.
  • Attend business networking events to accumulate new leads and referrals.
  • Re-service existing client accounts periodically and systematically.
  • Enter business client information weekly into CRM.
  • Balance personal sales goals with training and mentoring new sales agents.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff.
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentorship.

  • Familiarity with effective sales strategies.

  • Already licensed in Health & Life general lines or willing to obtain the license.
