Responsibilities
- Make daily in-person sales calls to small and medium-sized businesses in your territory.
- Build strong professional relationships and establish trust and rapport with customers.
- Connect with key decision makers at businesses and schedule appointments for group presentations.
- Report daily sales stats at the end of each day.
- Submit work schedule and goals to team leader weekly.
- Attend business networking events to accumulate new leads and referrals.
- Re-service existing client accounts periodically and systematically.
- Enter business client information weekly into CRM.
- Balance sales goals with training and mentoring new sales agents.
Requirements
- Valid Life & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain with reimbursement).
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
- Strong communication skills for customer and sales staff interactions.
- Leadership skills and experience in mentorship.
- Familiarity with effective sales strategies.
- Ability to create a motivating environment and train others effectively.
