About the position

Mitchell 1, a division of Snap-on Inc., is seeking an Independent Sales Contractor to represent and sell our industry-leading automotive repair and management software. The role involves making sales through phone calls and face-to-face interactions, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and are looking for a high-paying commission-based business opportunity. As an Independent Sales Contractor, you will be responsible for selling award-winning software to the automotive industry. This is an outside sales position, and candidates must reside in or near the designated territory, which includes Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, and surrounding cities. The compensation structure is highly attractive, featuring a commission pay structure with no cap on earnings. You can earn between 30% to over 80% in commission rates, and there are lucrative new rep bonus opportunities that can amount to up to $11,500 within the first four months. The position allows for flexibility in creating your own work hours, and you will receive ongoing sales support, product support, and marketing materials to assist in your sales efforts. Mitchell 1 has a long-standing history, having been established in 1918, and continues to thrive in the automotive industry, providing stability and growth opportunities for its sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and sell automotive repair and management software to clients.
  • Make sales via phone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Manage assigned territory and develop client relationships.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Utilize marketing materials and sales support provided by the company.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience in Outside Sales, B2B, or the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for product demos and presentations.
  • Comfortable using a computer and related software.
  • Knowledge of medium and heavy-duty trucking is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as an Account Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Consultant, Outside Sales Rep., Field Rep, or Service Writer.
