Sales Representative (Bilingual: English/Mandarin)

About the position

The Sales Representative position at Hadson Toko Trading Co., Inc. involves engaging with clients to sell Asian confectionery snack products. The role requires fluency in Mandarin and effective communication skills to meet customer needs and resolve complaints. The representative will also collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team and maintain detailed reports on sales activities and market competition.

Responsibilities

• Submits orders by visiting clientele and referring to price lists and product literature.
• Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
• Collaborates with Accounts Receivable team when necessary to facilitate the collection process.
• Maintains a professional demeanor when dealing with difficult individuals and/or situations.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customer volume.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory sales goals & analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (必须说普通话).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and able to travel.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
