About the position

The Sales Representative role involves selling products and services to customers in assigned multi-dwelling unit (MDU) areas through various solicitation methods, including door-to-door sales and lobby events. The position focuses on building strong relationships with property managers and enhancing the customer experience while meeting sales goals and generating incremental revenue from existing customers.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Meet established objectives for monthly sales goals and increased sales volume.
• Solicit residential customers through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property management.
• Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new services.
• Respond to customer problems and complaints according to company policy.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' activities and inform management of changes.
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings and training programs.
• Complete necessary paperwork to support sales activities accurately.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to company policy.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cold call sales skills and persuasion techniques.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems and communication devices.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, especially data networking fundamentals.
• Experience with consumer education of products and services.
• Success in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
