About the position

The Sales Representative/Business Development Representative position at Crown Equipment Corporation is an entry-level role focused on developing skills necessary for future sales positions such as Account Representative or Account Manager. The primary objective is to sell products within a designated territory while collaborating with team members and participating in training activities.

Responsibilities

  • Sell select products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
  • Assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
  • Participate in corporate and local campaigns.
  • Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and over the telephone.
  • Generate leads and track follow-up of inquiries.
  • Participate in training activities locally and occasionally at the corporate headquarters.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the branch.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
