About the position

The Sales Representative / Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the company's network within the commercial real estate industry. This position focuses on meeting sales targets, engaging with architecture and design firms, and contributing to the company's evolving sales strategy through innovative solutions in indoor plant care.

Responsibilities

• Achieve weekly sales activity targets and maintain accountability for results
• Track and manage opportunities within the team's CRM system
• Ensure smooth onboarding and project handoffs to the operations and fulfillment teams
• Continuously improve personal sales processes and demonstrate clarity in execution
• Travel up to 25% to support sales efforts
• Provide feedback to product and design teams based on customer insights
• Conduct outreach to generate leads and convert prospects into clients
• Read blueprints and design documents to accurately quote and invoice projects
• Plan and host events with architects and sales partners to promote products
• Allocate up to 20% of time to support resellers and independent sales representatives with quotes, presentations, and tracking sales activity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams
• Experience in scaling processes within entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial settings
• Success in commercializing products in hardware or technology companies
• Deep understanding of real estate assets and commercialization strategies
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders (e.g., furniture dealers, technology partners)
• Strong network within the commercial real estate industry
• Ability to serve as the public-facing representative of the business
