About the position

As a Sales Representative for SENA TRUCK CORP in Houston, TX, you will be responsible for building and managing your own book of business while addressing customers' supply chain needs. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving, with the opportunity to work from home and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Make calls and establish relationships to build your book of business
  • Close new and existing customers to move their freight
  • Negotiate prices with customers and carriers
  • Manage daily shipments and resolve issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery
  • Provide proactive and honest communication, internally and externally

Requirements

  • 1 year of sales experience
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of inside sales experience
  • Availability to work full-time, 100% in-home office
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work with the latest supply chain and logistics technologies

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree preferred, but no degree required
