Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and generate new business for paving, concrete, and stone base construction projects.
  • Provide accurate and detailed estimates for projects, including thorough cost analysis of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and identify challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams for seamless project execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of project estimates and sales activity in the company's CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive pricing to offer the best solutions to clients.
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the company's services.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and estimating within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Sage and Bluebeam technology for take-offs.
  • Strong understanding of cost control and construction estimating processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and city/state inspectors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of specialized equipment used in asphalt and concrete projects.
  • Experience in project management.
