About the position

The Sales Representative at Premier Trailer Leasing is responsible for driving sales through strategic customer engagement and relationship building. This role involves conducting sales calls, providing value-added solutions, and maintaining customer relationships to support the company's growth in the trailer leasing and rental market.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 10 strategic sales calls each week to communicate the Premier value proposition to existing and potential customers.
  • Perform 20 weekly cold calls or similar customer contact to develop future leads for business.
  • Provide value-added solutions to customers based on their needs and requirements.
  • Make personal visits with customers to present the Premier Value Proposition, including Rent, Lease, Trailer Tracking, LDW, and other products offered by the company.
  • Establish professional relationships with key customer personnel such as purchasing, engineering, and management.
  • Provide weekly reports to the branch manager on sales targets for the upcoming week.
  • Use CRM system to enter sales calls, opportunities, and customer contacts.
  • Keep customer accounts receivable below 45 days and collect payments as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or 5+ years' experience in the trailer leasing industry.
  • At least 3+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivated.
  • Ability to drive personal automobile and willingness to travel.

  • Experience in the trailer leasing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
