About the position

The Sales Representative at Adapt Health LLC is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources to drive sales growth in home care services. This role involves educating healthcare professionals and patients about home care options, coordinating referrals, and ensuring timely patient care. The representative will work closely with various teams to facilitate orders and enhance patient satisfaction while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with referral sources to generate steady referrals.
  • Ensure continuity between community physician practices and home settings to maximize patient satisfaction.
  • Educate healthcare professionals, physicians, and patients about home care options.
  • Coordinate referrals and documentation for timely admissions and patient care.
  • Conduct sales calls in the field to maintain contact with referral sources.
  • Develop territory call plans in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
  • Promote products and services to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with intake and customer service teams to process orders and drive sales growth.
  • Communicate Medicare and private insurance procedures to referral sources.
  • Generate referrals to meet sales growth goals for the territory.
  • Utilize the AdaptHealth Referral Management application for documentation and scheduling.
  • Increase referral volume through promotion and cross-selling among business lines.
  • Maintain knowledge of home equipment and insurance guidelines.
  • Assist in obtaining complete referral information and medical documentation.
  • Act as a resource for external customers to resolve patient issues.
  • Participate in obtaining MD orders and signatures for documentation.
  • Promote ePrescribe platforms for streamlined referral processes.
  • Conduct sales and service rounds in assigned facilities.
  • Identify programs to increase company revenues and patient satisfaction.
  • Adhere to procedures for the use of PPE and infection control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience in B2B or B2C Sales is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of work-related experience in Healthcare Sales is preferred.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Strong persuasion skills and motivation for sales.
  • Excellent relationship building, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
