About the position
The Royal Group is seeking a Corrugated Sales Representative to support its manufacturing facilities in Southeastern Wisconsin. This role focuses on profitably growing sales of various packaging solutions, including Point of Purchase (POP) display packaging. The Sales Representative will engage with companies in Wisconsin and Illinois, utilizing a consultative approach to meet customer needs while ensuring profitability and efficiency. The position requires strong sales skills, knowledge of packaging trends, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and call on companies purchasing packaging in Wisconsin or Illinois to achieve sales objectives.
- Grow sales of industrial, graphic, ecommerce, and retail packaging solutions.
- Provide consultative and transactional sales support to a mix of accounts.
- Resolve customer issues while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
- Prepare annual sales forecast analysis on existing and potential new accounts.
- Negotiate with customers and overcome obstacles to close sales.
- Deliver solutions quickly to provide a competitive advantage.
- Comply with company policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Two to five years of packaging sales experience, preferably in industrial or graphic packaging.
- Five years of experience in customer service or design roles in the packaging industry may be considered.
- Proven track record of successful sales growth and opening new business.
- Work experience in the corrugated packaging industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
