About the position

The Sales Representative for Brady Industries is responsible for developing the Jan/San segment by leveraging solution selling, customer education, and product expertise. This role focuses on building relationships within key commercial market segments such as hospitality, education, restaurants, and healthcare. The representative will utilize BradyPLUS' CRM to follow up on leads, identify key markets, and implement sales strategies to grow the division.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new leads.
  • Develop key relationships and identify customer concerns.
  • Coordinate with Sales Manager to support corporate programs focused on chemicals, paper, and janitorial segments.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for Hospitality, Industrial, Health Care, and Foodservice industries.
  • Set sales and gross margin goals for the territory and implement sales programs.
  • Understand and apply the Blue Arrow sales process for effective selling.
  • Maximize industry knowledge to assist customers in navigating product alternatives.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activities.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to expand market share for promoted products.
  • Work with marketing on sales-related materials and contracts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; college degree in sales/marketing or business preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the Food Service Industry preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a current driver's license with a clean driving record.
