About the position
The Sales Representative for Life Insurance at Kemper is responsible for providing insurance solutions to modest-income families through personal visits and sales presentations. This full-time field role involves managing an existing book of business while actively prospecting for new clients. Responsibilities
- Conducting sales presentations and recommending products to potential clients.
- Closing sales and utilizing the Customer Care Sales Model effectively.
- Continuously prospecting for new sales opportunities.
- Collecting premiums from policyholders according to a pre-arranged schedule.
- Responding promptly to service requests from policyholders, including beneficiary changes and claims.
- Maintaining accurate records and processing paperwork related to sales and premium collection.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is required.
- Ability to visit customers and prospects door-to-door.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with 100k/300k auto insurance coverage is necessary.
- Dependable vehicle is required for daily travel.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
