About the position

The Sales Representative for Radiometer is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable interpersonal relationships with customers, actively searching for new accounts, and improving sales potential with existing customers. This role involves creating and executing a territory plan to achieve year-over-year growth and meet annual performance objectives. The position is part of the Blood Gas Sales Team and requires significant travel within Minnesota, with a focus on improving patient care through innovative medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a territory plan to win new customers and retain existing business.
  • Progress sales funnel and conduct onsite sales calls.
  • Conduct annual customer business reviews of top accounts and manage escalated accounts with regional support.
  • Maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Deliver high-value proposals to meet customer needs while achieving company growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a science major.
  • 3+ years of sales experience required, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • 1+ years of capital equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 70% or greater, including some overnight travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in respiratory therapy, nursing, clinical lab, or similar fields.
  • Understanding of business management systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
