Responsibilities

  • Manage existing customer accounts and establish new sales opportunities.
  • Efficiently manage current customer relationships and engage new customers.
  • Partner with management to complete budget planning.
  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure execution of sales strategies.
  • Understand the industry and target customers to qualify opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of WestRock products and pricing.
  • Articulate sales vision and strategy to identify leads and manage prospects.
  • Develop and execute account strategies for new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify value-add opportunities to improve margins.
  • Manage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years of experience interfacing with customers in a sales-related field environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with tactical focus.
  • Organized with great time management skills to manage multiple customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and flexibility to adjust for different audiences.
  • Business acumen with knowledge of various areas of business.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or relevant software.
