About the position

The Orthopaedic Instruments Sales Representative at Stryker is responsible for promoting and selling orthopaedic instruments to meet customer needs. This role involves conducting product evaluations, demonstrating product value, and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals. The representative will track territory progress, communicate effectively with management, and provide excellent customer service while achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Stryker Orthopaedic Instruments products to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct product evaluations in operating room and office settings.
  • Demonstrate the value of products persuasively to healthcare professionals.
  • Track territory progress and communicate wins with the Regional Manager.
  • Assist customers with product problems and provide proper usage information.
  • Deliver excellent service and support to customers as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an outside sales position (medical related fields or B2B sales preferred) or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Ability to manage time, projects, stress, and conflict effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize work and maintain detailed and confidential records.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in medical sales or related fields.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate with large groups.
