About the position

The Cary Company is looking for a dynamic sales representative to expand its presence in the Oklahoma territory by promoting container, packaging, and filtration product lines. This role involves managing and nurturing various accounts, conducting sales calls, and driving business growth in a competitive market. The position offers a base salary with commission opportunities, allowing for significant earning potential after developing the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly sales calls and close new business.
  • Ensure all accounts/prospects in the area receive appropriate resources.
  • Learn the product line and technology to effectively promote offerings.
  • Quote and upsell products while building relationships with customers.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for personal and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Self-directed and detail-oriented with an inquisitive nature.
  • Sales experience with a strong understanding of networking and lead generation.
  • A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the packaging or filtration industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in sales.
