About the position
The Sales Representative for Payments is responsible for selling merchant services to businesses, managing client relationships, and identifying revenue opportunities within assigned territories. This role involves both field sales and some phone-based interactions, focusing on account management and customer presentations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and identify revenue opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to qualify leads and drive them through the sales pipeline.
- Respond to customer requests for information and conduct online presentations.
- Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to enhance client relationships.
- Maintain client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
- Keep management informed of all activities through timely report preparation.
- Continuously build knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and industry developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales
- Expert knowledge of the merchant payment industry

- Cold calling sales experience
- Demonstrated successful performance in previous sales roles
