About the position

The Sales Representative role at Mobile Modular Portable Storage involves developing strategies to identify, pursue, and close opportunities for renting portable storage solutions across various industries. This position emphasizes new business generation, customer relationship building, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships and communicating with customers via phone or email.
  • Building relationships with potential customers to establish trust and rapport.
  • Develop new business and grow business within existing accounts.
  • Demonstrating product knowledge to answer customer questions, inquiries and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Closing customer deals through generated leads and telephone prospecting.
  • Increase market share in both new and established markets.
  • Collaborate with sales team, operations and inventory specialists to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Place a high volume of quality outbound phone calls for the purpose of building relationships and matching our products and services to each customer's needs.
  • Maintaining client records by logging all calls/quotes in CRM daily.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience required.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and other customer databases.
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both customers and sales team.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management and able to work in a process driven environment.
  • Confident, assertive, quick-thinking and able to make decisions within established guidelines.
