About the position

Participation in organizations, clubs, trade shows, and conferences is also encouraged to expand the customer base. The individual must stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings, sharing this information with customers as part of the value-added services provided. The position requires driving a motor vehicle to visit existing customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery. This may involve physical activities such as lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 lbs. The work environment is primarily outside the office, engaging with customers in various weather and temperature conditions, which adds to the dynamic nature of the role.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability, organization, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products; experience with CRM tools like Salesforce preferred.
