About the position

The Sales Representative for the Texas Region at Lippert is responsible for driving sales across all commodity items within their division. This role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, managing day-to-day customer account responsibilities, and effectively communicating customer needs and expectations to the company. The representative will also identify and address competitive threats and work to maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales on all commodity items within the division.
  • Manage day-to-day customer account responsibilities to ensure satisfaction.
  • Communicate customer needs, frustrations, and expectations effectively.
  • Identify and combat competitive threats to existing business.
  • Maintain clear communication with the director, BDM, and operations regarding business opportunities and risks.
  • Foster relationships with operations and purchasing teams, both internal and external.
  • Provide run rates and forecasts for customers one month in advance.
  • Adhere to company processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate quoting activity and coordinate prototypes as required.
  • Maintain reports, spreadsheets, and Salesforce data as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing or sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationship building with key internal and customer teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • College Degree (Associates or Bachelors) preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
