About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process while providing excellent customer service. The role involves sourcing new customers, assisting them in finding and designing their dream homes, and ensuring a smooth sales process. The Sales Representative will communicate the company's value proposition, overcome objections, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 2 years related experience.
  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license, able to drive in daytime or nighttime.
  • Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH Sales applications.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision ability required includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.

  • Prior CRM software experience.
  • Previous sales experience, knowledge of the industry preferred.
  • Excel in intercommunications and interactions.
  • Strongly motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate DR Horton's value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
  • Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges, establishing DR Horton as the best solution available.
  • Overcome objections and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions from sale through loan, options, and construction.
  • Continuously source new sales opportunities.
  • Create and provide a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships to management.
  • Network and perform outreach to realtors.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet sales goals, and work effectively with other team members.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects.
  • Attend sales meetings and conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
