About the position

The Sales Representative at Deepsea Technologies, Inc. is responsible for generating sales leads, managing customer relationships, and promoting the company's subsea production systems and related technologies. This role requires a highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge of the subsea oil and gas industry, who can effectively communicate the value of the company's products and services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sales appointments with leads, prospective clients, and established customers.
• Implement sales and marketing strategies for the company.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Respond to RFQs received by the company and review job specifications and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate internal reviews and submit proposals and quotations.
• Schedule client meetings to present company products and capabilities.
• Contribute to the company website, presentations, and brochures.
• Research the industry to identify projects for targeting sales of company products.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in the subsea oil & gas industry, with a strong emphasis on engineering or operations/service.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills and thorough knowledge of the subsea industry.
• Understanding of subsea production systems and related technologies.
• Experience building relationships with customers and team members.
• Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Successful track record in sales and account management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multifunction teams.
• Self-motivated with high ethical standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the oil and gas industry with extensive industry contacts.
• Knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act requirements.
