About the position

The Sales Representative at Kamps is a dynamic and results-driven role focused on generating leads, cultivating client relationships, and closing sales to meet revenue targets. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment, contributing to the company's mission of revolutionizing supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new leads through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase benefits of Kamps.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients to close deals and achieve sales goals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to expand your network and promote our products/services.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
  • Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in the pallet or forest products industry preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for exceeding targets and driving results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
