About the position

The Sales Representative at Alside is responsible for driving sales growth by managing existing customer relationships and prospecting new clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, negotiating pricing, and effectively communicating product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability for the supply center.

Responsibilities

  • Grow supply center profit by winning back previous customers and increasing sales with existing customers.
  • Prospect new customers through on-site visits and outreach.
  • Communicate and demonstrate core product knowledge, application, and value to customers.
  • Understand and assess customer objectives and requirements to identify sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate market value pricing for accounts.
  • Build a territory of accounts by developing customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales or customer service experience in retail or distribution.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Working knowledge of core building material products, specifically windows and siding.
  • Familiarity with new construction and light commercial building needs.
