About the position

The Equipment Sales and Rental Representative at GM Equipment Corp. is a full-time role focused on establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers in the equipment rental and repair business. The position requires a motivated sales professional to drive growth in the Pittsburgh market by leveraging proven sales skills and industry knowledge to meet customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain solid relationships with current and new customers.
• Understand customer requirements and meet them in a timely manner.
• Communicate regularly with the customer base.
• Work closely with Field Operations and other sales reps to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate sales skills to grow the existing customer base.
• Find, attract, expand, and close on new customers.
• Make cold calls and follow up on lead-generated calls.
• Write rental/service and sales contracts accurately.
• Generate pricing quotes for prospective customers.
• Coordinate the delivery of equipment and track sales invoices.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
• Provide outstanding support to all customers.
• Generate sales information and customer summaries for senior managers.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in rental/sales industry (equipment preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to write contracts accurately.
• Knowledge of large equipment and trucks.

Nice-to-haves

• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
