About the position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual looking for a career in sales to join our team at GuardPlus Security Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, with the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals. This position is essential in expanding our market presence and enhancing our client base. This position will have a starting annual salary but is mostly commission-based, with certain benefits included.

Responsibilities

  • Generating leads
  • Conduct warm calling to prospective clients to introduce our services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers through effective communication and follow-up
  • Booking sales meetings
  • Utilize sales techniques to negotiate terms and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Identify new business development opportunities
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with clients in our software systems
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our services

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and/or business development
  • Strong skills in warm calling and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close sales successfully
  • Familiarity with business development strategies and software tools used for tracking leads
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn about our products and services to better serve clients

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
  • Sales experience (3 years preferred)
  • Ability to relocate before starting work (preferred)
