About the position

The Sales Representative at Crown Equipment Corporation is responsible for selling assigned products within a designated geographical territory or to specific accounts. This role involves generating leads, making sales calls, and participating in training activities to develop into higher-level sales positions. The representative will work collaboratively with other sales team members and various departments to understand their functions and objectives, ultimately aiming to advance within the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Sell assigned products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
  • Assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
  • Make sales calls to qualify prospects and generate leads.
  • Participate in information gathering efforts and track leads and inquiries.
  • Engage in training activities locally, in the field, and occasionally at the corporate headquarters in New Bremen, Ohio.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the branch to understand their functions and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or a related business program.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a sense of responsibility.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
