About the position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on our Ant-Safe Food Kit. This role involves engaging with customers who have purchased ant colonies and introducing them to our specialized food kits designed to ensure the health and well-being of their ants. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of customer service and sales expertise, with a passion for educating customers on proper ant care and the benefits of our subscription-based food kit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to promote the Ant-Safe Food Kit to customers who have purchased ant colonies.
• Initiate and maintain customer outreach through cold calling, follow-ups, and direct sales efforts to drive subscriptions.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with customers, providing expert advice on ant care and the importance of proper nutrition.
• Stay updated on market trends and customer needs related to ant care and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Deliver informative product demonstrations and educate customers on the convenience and benefits of our Ant-Safe Food Kit.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine approaches and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Gather and provide feedback on customer experiences to enhance product offerings and improve service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, particularly in subscription products or niche markets such as pet care or hobbyist communities.
• Strong skills in customer service, direct sales, and lead generation.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize sales efforts, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers and provide valuable education on ant care.
• Basic knowledge of ant care or interest in learning about it is a plus.
• Proactive approach to cold calling and upselling to existing customers.
• Strong analytical skills to assess customer feedback and optimize sales tactics.
