The Sales Representative at Alfa Insurance is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while selling multi-line insurance products. This role involves prospecting new business, quoting and binding policies, and assisting customers with their inquiries. The representative plays a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring the effective operation of the service center.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business in multi-line insurance.
  • Quote and bind insurance policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and document requests.
  • Process premiums and dues in a membership organization.
  • Provide strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Support agents and service center staff as needed.
  • Make decisions regarding applicant insurability and placement.
  • Ensure effective operation of the service center, including reports and documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must attain Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire (training provided).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
