About the position

The Sales Representative position at Quikrete involves managing and expanding customer relationships primarily in the Las Vegas market, with potential growth into Phoenix, AZ, and Northern California. The role focuses on on-site sales, customer service, account management, and sales prospecting, requiring a proactive approach to meet sales targets and maintain strong market knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term business relationships with customers through on-site sales calls.
• Provide customer service to resolve issues for both internal and external customers.
• Identify and quote jobs, both large and small, as needed.
• Establish and maintain a strong grasp of the market.
• Manage accounts and actively prospect for new customers.
• Develop action plans and establish objectives/goals to meet sales targets.
• Maintain a daily log of customer calls and upcoming projects.
• Work closely with operations to manage inventory levels.
• Assist in coordinating deliveries to customers and with quality control in the scale house as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining good relationships with Quikrete locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of related experience in sales of construction-oriented product lines.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
