About the position
The Sales Representative role at Aerotek involves selling service and maintenance contracts for plumbing and HVAC systems, primarily targeting commercial and industrial clients, with some focus on residential clients. The position requires a mix of office and field work, allowing for dynamic interactions with clients and opportunities for business development.
Responsibilities
- Sell service and maintenance contracts for plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Engage in business-to-business sales, primarily targeting commercial and industrial job sites.
- Conduct cold calling and prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
- Meet with clients, provide site tours, and finalize contracts.
- Maintain and grow customer relationships through regular follow-ups and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the construction or mechanical industry.
- Strong coachability and willingness to learn.
- Excellent driving record with no more than 2 points.
- Ability to pass a drug test (marijuana included, DOT 7 panel).
Nice-to-haves
- College diploma is a plus.
- Understanding of service contracts and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies.
