About the position

Valpak/Clip Media is seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team in Nashville, TN. This is a remote outside sales opportunity that allows you to work with well-established brands that sell themselves. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with small and mid-sized businesses, primarily focusing on companies with fewer than 1,000 employees. Your role will involve prospecting for new clients through lead generation, referrals, and networking, while also maintaining relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a positive attitude. You will be equipped with high-tech data and analytics tools to create personalized marketing campaigns that effectively reach target customers for our clients. In this position, you will benefit from a competitive earning structure that includes a base salary plus guaranteed commissions for your first year, with the potential to earn approximately $70,000 to $75,000. After your first year, your earning potential will continue to grow as you expand your book of business. We provide paid training to familiarize you with our processes and selling tools, ensuring you have the skills necessary to succeed. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in contests with exciting prizes and trips. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with small and mid-sized businesses in the Nashville area.
  • Prospect for new clients through lead generation, referrals, and networking.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize high-tech data and analytics to create effective marketing campaigns for clients.
  • Participate in sales contests and initiatives to enhance engagement and motivation.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the media/print industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong consultative sales approach to increase close rates.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B sales with companies under 1,000 employees.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and marketing campaign strategies.
