About the position
As a Sales Service Assistant at Servco Lexus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our new and pre-owned luxury vehicles are presented in their best condition before delivery to customers. This position involves a variety of tasks centered around vehicle detailing and maintenance, which are essential for maintaining the high standards of our dealership. You will be responsible for washing and polishing vehicles, inspecting them to ensure they meet our professional appearance standards, and ensuring that each vehicle has a full tank of gas. Additionally, you will organize vehicles on the lot and in the showroom according to dealership standards, which is vital for both aesthetics and operational efficiency. Your role will also include shuttling vehicles on the lot and assisting with vehicle pick-up from various locations, including the Vehicle Processing Center and vendor sites. Keeping track of vehicle keys is another important aspect of your job, as you will need to ensure that all keys are accounted for and organized properly. You may also be required to run errands and perform other duties as assigned, which will contribute to the overall efficiency of the dealership's operations. Responsibilities
- Wash and polish vehicles for customer delivery
- Inspect vehicles to ensure a professional appearance and a full tank of gas
- Organize vehicles on the lot and in the showroom per dealership standards
- Shuttle vehicles on the lot and assist with vehicle pick-up from the Vehicle Processing Center, pier, and/or vendors as needed
- Organize key board to ensure all vehicle keys are accounted for
- Run errands as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
- Strong communication skills
- Team player with a dedication to customer service excellence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Detailing or lot attendant work experience preferred
