As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by delivering food products essential to various sectors including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities. This position is designed for individuals who have a passion for driving and are looking for more home time. With day shifts and local routes, you will be home every day, allowing for a better work-life balance. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with our customers while ensuring timely and safe delivery of products. You will be required to unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs, utilizing a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. At Gordon Food Service, we offer a stable work environment where you are guaranteed a route and paid weekly. Our drivers can expect to earn an average salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 per year, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,100 per week. Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to various customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers during deliveries.
• Unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of products on assigned routes.
• Adhere to all safety and driving regulations as required by DOT and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
