About the position

Wabtec Bus Solutions is seeking a qualified Sales/Service Representative to join their Sales Department. This role focuses on meeting customer needs while achieving sales goals across a multi-state regional area. The representative will be responsible for sales/service activities, service calls for end users, OEM support, and account management, contributing to the company's mission of delivering innovative transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service several OEM accounts in the region, including training and account management.
  • Promote, sell, and secure new business while managing existing accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities with customers and ensure product specifications are included in current and future orders for bids.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market data to Regional and National Manager.
  • Manage contracts and OEM customers effectively.
  • Self-manage a home office and demonstrate effective time and territory management.
  • Communicate unique selling points to a broad audience, including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety professionals.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant sales experience in the Bus Transit Sector or equivalent, including project and account management.
  • High school diploma/equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience using a CRM preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
