The Sales Specialist V, Solutions role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a remote position focused on driving sales and business development in specialized areas. This position requires a deep understanding of products, services, and solutions, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, including C-level executives. The role involves collaborating with account managers, developing long-term sales pipelines, and providing consultative support to enhance customer value and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in specialized area.
  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities.
  • Provide support to the Account managers.
  • Set direction for business development and solution replication.
  • Create and grow reference customers.
  • Sell complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis.
  • Establish a professional, consultative relationship with clients, including C-level for mid-to-large accounts.
  • Maintain and use overall cross-portfolio knowledge to support account leads with integration of solutions.
  • Contribute to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism.
  • Maintain expertise on IT at all levels and broad market and competitor knowledge.

Requirements

  • University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of related sales experience.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer.
  • Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities.
  • Considered a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy.

  • Project management skills required.
  • In-depth knowledge of client's business, organizational structure, business processes and financial structure.
  • Excellent project oversight skills.
