About the position

The Sales Operations Coordinator (SOC) at Boston BioProducts serves as a primary contact for inbound sales inquiries and is responsible for outbound lead generation. This role involves providing customer service to both new and existing customers, identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, and supporting the overall commercial department. The SOC will work cross-functionally with various internal teams and is expected to work on-site at the Milford, MA headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads to create sales opportunities including prospect list building
  • Coordinate with marketing, product management, and customer operations to execute campaigns
  • Organize new leads within the CRM and monitor lead pipelines
  • Engage inbound leads in a timely manner
  • Create and send product and service quotations
  • Represent Boston BioProducts at customer visits and conferences/events
  • Support vendor setups at academic and biotech organizations
  • Gain and maintain a strong understanding of products and services
  • Travel as needed to conferences, meetings, and trade shows (10-15%)

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 years in Sales and/or Customer Service
  • Associate's degree in a business-related discipline is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer-focused mindset
