About the position

The Sales Specialist will provide essential sales and marketing support to various senior living communities, aiming to achieve 100% occupancy. This role involves traveling to assigned communities, assisting their sales teams, and engaging with potential residents and their families. Responsibilities

  • Assist communities and their sales teams to increase occupancy.
  • Facilitate occupancy boosts by giving tours, conducting outreach, and closing sales.
  • Generate and maintain sales leads.
  • Complete presentations and tours with prospects and subsequently close sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources in the area.
  • Record all sales and marketing traffic and submit reports to the Executive Director and Home Office.
  • Work with community leaders and corporate office to develop and coordinate large activities for residents and prospective residents.
  • Coordinate community advertising with the Home Office marketing team.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of multi-site sales experience, including selling responsibility for independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
  • Professional level selling and marketing experience, including knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and/or services.
  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales systems.
  • Consultative selling skills highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the senior housing industry and its various senior living products.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and computer-based Lead Management programs.
  • Ability to work well under stress and complete assignments accurately and timely.
  • High degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Professional level communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop associates.
