About the position

The Sales Specialist at Phusion Projects is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts to enhance the distribution of Phusion brands. This role involves driving new distribution, creating displays, and increasing brand visibility through strategic planning and execution. The Sales Specialist will manage key accounts, ensuring alignment with sales goals and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. Weekly travel within an assigned territory and additional travel for market-wide events is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts to influence distribution of Phusion brands.
  • Drive new distribution and create displays to increase brand visibility.
  • Manage key accounts through planning, execution, and reviews of results against current goals.
  • Work closely with wholesalers to execute all sales and promotional programs.
  • Collaborate with key distributor sales reps to ensure focus on the Phusion portfolio at accounts.
  • Leverage selling resources to support accounts, including programming execution and sampling.
  • Partner with internal Phusion team to ensure alignment and execution at accounts.
  • Maintain assigned budgets responsibly.
  • Ensure proper merchandising standards are executed in the market.
  • Attend promotional events to generate new sales leads.
  • Educate external partners on product updates and launches.
  • Act as the face of the company while working with external partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organized and comfortable with technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or promotional programs in the beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with key account management.
