About the position

The Sales Specialist role is focused on generating new business and serving clients in the energy sector, particularly in North America. This full-time position involves achieving revenue goals through effective sales strategies, client relationship management, and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Completing sales efforts outlined in the Marketing Plan to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals
  • Assisting in the development of the marketing plan and annual budget
  • Identify and develop new client bases and maintain relationships with existing clients to enhance business networks
  • Ensure client retention through dedicated customer service and support
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
  • 2 years or more of sales or marketing experience in the electrical equipment sector, preferably in transformers
  • Proven experience in B2B environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of clients
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the technical aspects of products and services meet the project's requirements
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
