About the position

PepsiCo is seeking a Sr. Director of Sales to support their Sam's Club beverage business. This role is pivotal in leading a team of 7, which includes 3 direct reports and 4 indirect reports. The Sr. Director will be accountable for engaging with the Sam's Beverage, Value Added Protein, and Alcohol Merchants, as well as collaborating with the Supply Replenishment Team. A significant aspect of this position involves building and delivering the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and overseeing the Joint Business Plan (JBP) creation and customer alignment process. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading large teams, particularly in field operations and customer selling, ensuring that PepsiCo continues to thrive as a category leader and growth driver in the beverage market. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Walmart & Sam's Club. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their skills, ideas, and perspectives to drive the business forward, aligning with PepsiCo's vision to be the global leader in convenient foods and beverages. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to achieving results through effective team management and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 7, including 3 direct reports and 4 indirect reports.
  • Engage with Sam's Beverage, Value Added Protein, and Alcohol Merchants.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Replenishment Team.
  • Build and deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Oversee the Joint Business Plan (JBP) creation and customer alignment process.
  • Drive performance and accountability within the team.
  • Manage complex negotiations and conflict resolution with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales-related experience, preferably with a consumer-packaged goods organization.
  • At least 5 years of fact-based direct selling experience.
  • Strong P&L management and financial literacy skills.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
